Broom's Head Australia

A great spot for anyone who would like to enjoy the beach  the way the coastline was just a century ago. Brooms Head village is surrounded by the Yuraygir National Park, there are sightings of wallabies and emus as well as many other birds.

Norfolk Island pines, which mark so many beaches large and small, also line the main beach at Broom's, with plenty of space and shade for picnics. A large lagoon is ideal for children, along with fascinating rock pools and crevices.

Reflections on Lake Aragon
Lake Arragan just a few kilometres down the road has great camping facilities. We had the best
time here taking our kayak up the lake.Highly recommend this beautiful tranquil Australian gem.

National Park
Yuraygir has the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline in NSW. The Wooli and Sandon Rivers reach the sea at Yuraygir, and if you're into fishing and canoeing you've found the right place.

Surfers can also have a go at the famous Angourie break at the northern end of the park, while the 10 km Angourie walking track takes you through a variety of pristine coastal environments - swamps, lagoons, heathlands and beaches.
